We developed Japan’s first packaged air conditioner in 1951 and have been responsible for many industry innovations. We offer a range of systems designed to meet different needs. After all, what you may think is comfortable may not be the same as your teenage daughter or even your prized labradoodle.
A Daikin Smart Cooling and Heating System can provide comfort in a single room or a whole home. Every system has our Daikin Constant ComfortTM inverter technology (which is super cool…no pun intended) that maintains each room’s desired temperature by making slight adjustments to the speed of the outside compressor based on information from the inside components. Our systems don’t constantly stop and start to regulate the temperature like conventional systems. This helps lower indoor humidity levels, keeping you cool as a cucumber on hot days and warm and toasty on cold days. Perfect air – all the time.
More energy efficient.
We have a wider variety of Energy Star qualified products than anyone else. At the heart of each of our systems is an air-source heat pump that needs less electricity to cool and heat because it pulls energy from the air. Although it may seem counterintuitive, uninterrupted operation also lowers your energy costs—just as your car is more efficient on the highway than it is in stop-and-go city traffic. These factors alone make a Daikin system up to 30% more energy efficient than a conventional non-inverter system. You can save even more by using the room-by-room temperature control to eliminate overcooling and overheating.

Quiet, worry-free operation.
You’ll never be awakened at night by one of our systems “kicking on” because with Daikin Constant ComfortTM inverter technology it’s already quietly running in the background. Our systems rarely operate at full speed because most of the time they only need to leisurely cruise along to keep you comfortable. At low speed our indoor units are quieter than a library, and our outdoor units seem almost silent compared to conventional non-inverter air conditioners. That’s because they have an advanced compressor with fewer moving parts, resulting in less friction and vibration. Millions of Daikin systems all over the world have been up and running for nearly 20 years.
